Step toward the Future

Hi,

So today I started planning for my café. It has been on my to do list for quiet some time but I never had the courage to do so. At the moment also I am confused. I am scared aabout what I should do and I have no idea on how to proceed.

There are more questions than answers and it seems to be a daunting task. But one thing is sure that I want my café. I can already imagine how it will look. A small quaint place maybe on 1^st or second floor with peaceful interiors and light music and the café filled with chatter of the people.

A small hangout spot for the people especially the school kids. The main focus is always on school kids and thus the menu has to cheap but the food has to be of top quality.

A place where the people can come and spend as much time as they want. They can come and do their work or simply just come with their friends and spend hours catching up.

In the start it will be just shakes, sandwiches and pastas. Then incorporating more items on the menu like Chinese, pizzas, burgers.

But there are so many questions –

1.     Where to open?

2.    How to open?

3.    Where to get ingredients?

4.    How tro do interiors, buy tables and chairs?

5.    Where to hire people?

6.    Should I involve swati’s friend or not?

7.    If not then am I capable enough to open operate and make a successful business venture.

Thoughts are plaguing my mind and I have no idea how to go about it. The main problem that is arising is my insecurities. I think I am not confident enough in myself and moreover my first thought is if not this then what.

I know that it will not be my money that will be invested but rather my fathers and this money can be used by him on many other things. We are two sisters. Mom dad have to get us married. My sister is still studying and her tuition fee is high. Plus my dad already have some loans that are to be paid off. Then comes my grandma’s medical expenses and my nana’s medical bills. There is already a huge pressure on him. Then how do I ask him to sponser me?

Should I just go and take a loan from banks?

But if it doesn’t go well then what happens? How will I pay these loans. I don’t have anything on my name and can’t mortgage anything as I am already broke.

Many have said that you should have an experience before going into these things but is it really necessary?

Coz I know the market in my vicinity. Eateries are just started opening here. Thius is the perfect time to establish the café coz 2 years down the line there will be a very large competition and the chance of my café being successful will diminish a lot.

So many hings going on in my mind but no way to see which direction to take. That’s for sure that I will be having my own café but will it now or later?

If now then how and where are very big question.

So many questions but not enough answers. But I am determined to have the answers as soon as possible.
